Celebrate Your Love at Robert Hall
Since opening our doors last summer, we have been honored to host a number of couples on their wedding day. The convenience of having three distinct event spaces that flow seamlessly into one another has given brides and grooms the flexibility to curate and customize their perfect venue.
When asked why Robert Hall is the ideal venue for weddings in Downtown Winston-Salem, our Event Manager, Kristopher Walter, highlighted this flow and flexibility.
“My favorite aspect about Robert Hall is its sense of flow,” said Kristopher. “Once vows have been exchanged outside in The Garden or downstairs in The Vault, the newlyweds and their guests can enjoy a cocktail hour upstairs in Capone’s Bar before returning downstairs for a more formal reception and dancing. There is no change of location or awkward pause in the celebration—everything moves along seamlessly and takes place under one roof.”

In addition to having dedicated event spaces for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, Robert Hall is also equipped with a fully licensed bar and a commissary kitchen that is perfect for caterers. If you’re looking for a place to host a more intimate wedding or elopement, any of the three spaces at Robert Hall can be reserved individually or in pairs.
We also offer wedding packages that include amenities like tables, chairs, and dinnerware, which removes the added stress of furnishing event rentals. Also, having indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces provides a little rainy day insurance and makes Robert Hall the perfect wedding venue for any season.
“As an added bonus, the five rooms inside The Huntley House can be rented alongside the venue spaces,” said Kristopher. “We’ve had brides and grooms use these rooms to get ready for their big day, spend the night after the wedding has ended, and use them as on-site accommodations for guests that are joining them from out-to-town.”

Take a Peek Inside Our Building
Capone’s Bar: A space unlike any other, Capone’s resides on the second floor of Robert Hall. Through a set of stunning 1920s brass entry doors are 2,500 sq ft of gathering space filled with natural lighting. Its period-inspired tin ceiling, rich navel blue walls, and salvaged knotty pine paneling set the mood for the authentic 1920s mahogany bar.
The Vault: The Vault offers 2,500 sq ft on the first floor of Robert Hall preserved in its original, industrial look. Gray block walls, brick columns, and exposed sawmill plank wood truss ceiling give you the feel of being in a secret space. The room also boasts a 700 sq ft fully equipped commissary kitchen that’s perfect for caterers.
The Garden: Our outdoor patio space offers 2,100 sq ft that encompasses two outdoor fireplaces, beautiful trees and landscaping, and entertainment areas with ample seating. The Garden is also where you’ll find a wishing well that was discovered on the grounds during renovation, adding a touch of elegance and imagination to your next reception.
The Huntley House: Nicely tucked into Robert Hall is a set of five Airbnb rooms designed to make guests feel as if they have come to stay with their most sophisticated and eclectic relatives. Each room has its own personality, meticulously curated with family heirlooms and new “old” treasures.
